The Analysis of the Difficulty in Learning Economics Subject Experienced By Students of Favored State Senior High Schools in City of Malang. Ro’ufah Inayati, Sri Handayani, Januar Kustiandi, Agung Haryono, Hari Wahyono, Sapir

Abstract
Education need to have the ability to improve students’ potentials, namely religion spiritual power, self-management, personality, intelligence, virtuous morals, as well as skills needed by learners and society. Teachers carry an important role to resolve problems related to learning difficulties. The result of the research that was done through interview shows that the types of learning difficulties found in students of favored state senior high schools in the City of Malang are the lack of understanding in receiving information and concept understanding problem. Hence, the solution suggested to solve the problems are: collecting materials taken from compulsory economics textbook and electronic books; asking the teacher regarding the materials that are not yet fully understood; increasing the frequency of exercises in LKS (School’s Exercise Book), or other sources; making summaries, schemes, and notes to ease the comprehension of economics materials’ basic concept; and scheduling studying time outside the school, and at home as well as providing more studying media at home.

The Interregional Partnership Model as an Attempt to Improve the Prosperity of Civil Society in East Java, Indonesia. Nasikh

Abstract
Interregional partnership is considered to be a medium to strengthen the relationship between regencies or cities within the country. This research is aiming at identifying the interregional partnership model in regencies or cities as an attempt to improve the prosperity of civil society in East Java. This research were conducted in five regencies in East Java, namely Lamongan, Tuban, Tulungagung, Kediri, and Madiun regencies. The finding of the research shows the interregional partnership model among regencies or cities as an attempt to improve the prosperity of civil society in East Java was carried out by applying the equal partnership, synergic, mutualism symbiosis, as well as need-based, involvement and ownership, flexibility, legitimate, effective, accountable and transparent, and sustainable principles. The East Java government has been playing an active and adequate role, even they have given the right proportion institutionally and substantially based on the constitution. There are some factors underlying the interregional partnership among regencies, which are transparency, robustness, transformation rules, government capacity, distributions of power, dependency level, and intellectual order.

The Existence of Marble and Onyx Handicrafts in Gamping Village in Improving Community’s Welfare. Sri Umi Mintarti W, Yohanes Hadi Soesilo, Rizky Dwi Putri, Dian Rachmawati, Annisya’

Abstract
The business of marble and onyx stone crafts in Gamping village has established before Indonesia’s independence. In the Dutch colonial era, there are already handicrafts that make gravestone in which many are sent abroad. The existence of this business is still visible even though the crisis has hit the economy of Indonesia. This study was conducted to find out why this business can still exist and its impact on the welfare of the community. This research is a qualitative research conducted in Gamping village with marble and onyx stone crafts entrepreneur as the research subject. The sources of information are obtained from employers, community leaders, and housewives. Furthermore, the research instrument in this study was interview and documentation. The results showed that these entrepreneurs are highly motivated to try in the field of crafts as well as being honest and responsible in fulfilling the orders. Their willingness to be independent is very high even only with limited capital. However, this business is also experienced several ups and downs. In 1985-2005, this has experienced a glory while after 2005, this has encountered a decrease in the orders. The existence of this business is very helpful to meet the needs of life and to provide prosperity for the community in Gamping village. Therefore, this needs government intervention especially in product development and marketing so that this business can maintain its existence.

The Role of Economics Teacher Forum in Improving Economics Teacher Performance in the City of Mojokerto. Prih Hardinto, Lisa Rokhmani, Ach. Ali Wafa, and Rizza Megasari

Abstract
The professionality of teachers can be known through the professional organization in which they participate. One of the professional organizations for teachers is Economics Teacher Forum or Musywarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP). In the forum, there are various programs where the stimulating and obstructing factors of performance should be accompanied by monitoring and evaluating system. The programmes need to be evaluated in order to know its benefits for the teachers’ performance. The monitoring and evaluation have become a process that is utilized in order to get an overview of the activity and performance of the forum itself in managing and holding activities consistently and continuously. The monitoring and evaluation are arranged to get references toward the factors implemented in the process per se. To know the role of the forum, this research is done by using Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM). The data collection uses observation, documentation, and interview techniques, with the subjects being the chairman, secretary, treasurer, field coordinator, and the members of Economics Teacher Forum of Mojokerto. The results showed the input components being effective and efficient through good organization management which is signified by the existence of clear articles of association and planned work programs. The process component were also effective and efficient with there being a routine agenda in every meeting. The consistent forum time frequency is shown by the consistency of forum members’ presence in each meeting. The output component is known by looking at the uniformity of the forum activities’ results with the planned work programs that indicates its effectiveness and efficient. It can be concluded that Economics Teacher Forum has a significant role in improving the performance of Mojokerto’s economics teachers.

Abstract
Regional economic growth can be achieved with regional development. Regional development is implemented based on regional autonomy and fiscal decentralization. With decentralization opens up opportunities for underdeveloped regions to catch up with developed regions through rapid growth of per capita. Regional revenues and expenditures that include Regional Original Revenue, General Allocation Fund nd Capital Expenditure can be used as instruments to increase economic growth and reduce poverty. This study was conducted with the aim to examine the effect of Regional Original Revenue, General Allocation Fund, Capital Expenditure on economic growth and poverty. This research uses quantitative research design, the model used in this study with regression. Data collection is done by using documentation technique. Population and sample in this research is 38 Regency / City in East Java Province year 2010-2016. The type of data used in this study is secondary data with panel data. The result of analysis shows that Regional Original Revenue and General Allocation Fund have negative effect to economic growth, Capital Expenditure has positive and significant effect to economic growth. Regional Original Revenue has negative effect on poverty level, General Allocation Fund and Capital Expenditure have positive effect on poverty. Economic growth negatively affects poverty

The Analysis of Female Migrant Workers’ Mobility Towards Domestic Economy of East Java. Grisvia Agustin,Imam Mukhlis,Yogi Dwi Satrio,Dian Rachmawati, Syahrul Munir

Abstract
Nowadays, women taking part to support family prosperity by working is something common. This research purpose is to analyze the supporting factors and the obstacles to the mobility of female migrant workers. The model used in this research is the interactive model (Miles and Huberman, 2005). The object of this research is female migrant workers from Blitar and Tulungagung Regency in the Province of East Java. The data collection method is gradual data collection; data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verifying. The result gives the conclusion that the main factor of the mobility of migrant female workers in those areas is the economic factor. Later, it is also supported by the existence of economic disparities and the low wage rate in the area of origin while family needs keep rising. On the other hand, the destination countries for the female migrant workers such as Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, and Hong Kong offer high wage rate for unskilled workers.

Waste Bank: Waste Management Model in Improving Local Economy. Dwi Wulandari, Sugeng Hadi Utomo, Bagus Shandy Narmaditya

Abstract
The aim of this study is to explain waste management model through waste bank and explain how households increase their welfare through this model. The findings from this study can be an alternative for other cities in other countries especially developing countries in overcoming waste problems. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with the purpose to get an explanation through indepth interview from stakeholders, households and waste bank managers. The data is analyzed using Huberman and Miles models and the process including data reduction, data display, and verification. The result reveal that waste bank management model not only beneficial in making a clean environment but also has an impact on local economy by increasing the income of housewives around the waste bank. The community expected more support from the government to improve the mechanism of waste bank and a better pricing model for the waste.

An analysis of income distribution of plus traditional fish farmer in Pasuruan District, East Java. Nasikh

Abstract
This study aims at analyzing the income distribution of plus traditional fish farmer in Pasuruan district in East Java province. This research is conducted in Bangil sub-district of Pasuruan District by considering the fact that this area is one of the biggest traditional fish farm areas in Pasuruan district. There are forty plus traditional fish farmer who become our informant in this study. The research finding shows that there is an income gap among the forty fish farmer. The average income of the plus traditional fish farmer is five million rupiahs per month. There are 28 fish farmer (70%) who earn 5,290,000 rupiahs. Meanwhile, other eight fish farmer (20%) earn 4,950,000 rupiahs per month and the remaining four fish farmer (10%) make 4,740,000 rupiahs per month. There are three factors affecting the income distribution of the plus traditional fish farmer, namely the number of working family members, the knowledge of the fish farmer about the plus traditional fish farm business, and the price of product produced by the plus traditional fish farm business.

Triple helix model to improve financial literacy of students in faculty of economics. Dwi Wulandari, Bagus Shandy Narmaditya

Abstract
This study is aimed to reveal financial literacy among students and efforts to improve the financial literacy. This study used a mixed method. A quantitative approach is used to rate students about financial literacy of six components: Insurance, stock market, financing, pension fund, pawn, and banking. The result showed that the majority of students was in the category of sufficient literate and also showed that financial literacy was the lowest in the insurance sector. This is partly caused by a lack of education about insurance in the Faculty of Economics. In order to improve financial literacy, especially in the field of insurance, we used triple helix model of the relationship between the University, Government and Financial Industry. In University, we can create an effective learning model positively correlated with the understanding related financial product where the financial product is a component of financial literacy. The Role of Government in this context is the OJK as overseeing and regulating the respective regulations of the financial industry. Financial Industry conducted socialization for students and society to make people believe more in their products. The cooperation of these three sectors are important to create a good synergy among parties related to financial literacy

Abstract
The tragedy of commons exists where natural common resources are overused. Every useris encouraged to maximize their utilization by taking as much as they can, left environment’s ability to regenerates behind. As a result, there will be a decreasing result. The condition exists in Muncar in Banyuwangi, Indonesia. This coastal area has to accommodate an increasing number of fishing fleets with more advanced technology, which creates a diminishing volume in fishing catches. This research explores the tragedy of commons in Muncar, Indonesia. We use the qualitative approach with the phenomenological interpretative paradigm. We interviewed stakeholders as well as fishermen in Muncar. The result of this study (1). The increasing number of fishing fleets are accompanied with more advanced technology. This allows fishermen to catch fish in higher volume. Also, there is a negligence in environment-friendly concern because of economic reason. (2). The tragedy of commons is caused by unclear regulation about fish regulation along the Muncar Coastal Area. The development of infrastructure in Muncar is not well equipped with adequate utilities such as disposal waste facilities. Also, the development of industrial zones in Muncar is not well planned.
